Great Product

I was using a less capable image extractor that failed to find some or all images embedded in an SWF file. SWF Picture Extractor is easier to use and finds them all. Thanks.

Functional, but don`t expect fancy

Considering that it's free, this is not a criticism, but a tip/comment:

When you click to save the extracted images, it'll report whether it was saved, BUT NOT WHERE.

I didn't get any indication of location or a prompt as to where to save the files. Find the options/preferences for SWF Picture Extractor to change the destination directory.

An excellent tool that performs as advertised

It is so refreshing to come across a tool - SWF Picture Extractor - that does one thing, but does that thing extremely well, rather than a tool with undependable features that promise more but lose the plot through poorly thought out GUI's and features that needed more work, rather than using their users to perform an unwitting beta test on their behalf.

SWF Picture Extractor is a clean, uncluttered, fast and highly efficent tool that extracts images (and saves them in a variety of formats) from SWF's with, as far as I can tell, no degradation in image quality whatsoever.

I am going to keep a watch on the person / people who brought SWF Picture Extractor to my hard drive. If they carry on in the good old unix methodology - make a tool to do one thing, but concentrate on making it do that one thing really well - I can see a very welcome collection of such tools as part of a suite.

In short, very, very happy with an excellent product. Well Done!

Review Picture extractor usage.

Unfortunately, Picture extractor did not seem to work for me. I was attempting to obtain a SWF from image shack, and it seemed to be able to extract everything but the images.

Great tool

If you just need to extract images from a SWF file, this tool will do the job.
OK it took me some time to figure where the extracted files were saved.

Just a quick glance

I was looking for a software which would help me extracting stuff from SWF file.
It turned out I need more than what SWF PIcture Extractor had to offer, but this does not mean this software is bad. It's got its place and it is functioning perfectly well. So I recommend it if you'd like to avoid fiddling with PrintScreen and other silly methods
